Our Director
Mr MF Modau
Before establishing Mothee Consulting, Mr Modau previously worked for Eskom (South African electricity public utility), PPA Energy (an energy and management consulting company based in United Kingdom; and was acquired by Ricardo Energy & Environment – a global engineering and strategic, technical and environmental consultancy business), Sasol Limited (an international integrated energy and chemicals company) and South Africa Department of Energy. During this period, Mr Modau worked in the following countries: South Africa, Botswana, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Guyana, Mozambique, Nepal, Poland, Rwanda, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, United Kingdom (UK), United States (US), Yap (Federated States of Micronesia) and Zimbabwe.
Mr Modau has written published work in the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Transactions of Power Systems journals and the South African Journal of Human Resource Management. Mr Modau was also a part-time lecturer in 2006 for Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) at University of Johannesburg (UJ). On the backdrop of his local and international experience, Mr Modau is passionate, not only about delivering sustainable results to Mothee Consulting clients, and also on competence building in the energy sector throughout Southern African region. Mr Modau’s primary responsibilities within Mothee Consulting includes identifying new opportunities for the consulting company.
